Allergan Botox Virtual Injector App
Allergan needed an interactive tutorial to guide medical practitioners in the proper administration of Botox. I was given an extremely short timeframe to complete this project. I started by analyzing Allergan reference materials.
After initial client meetings, I decided to leverage existing client assets and go directly to UX/UI wireframing to meet the tight deadline. Ideally, flows and application mapping would be applied to give clarity to any future changes. But this project demanded necessary shortcuts.
Additionally, this project required a functional UX prototype in order to get approval from their strict legal department. The prototype needed to be fully interactive, with final image assets dropped in.
The prototype proved to be successful, not only because it received rapid approval from legal, but also served as an invaluable inter-departmental point of reference. The application has been expanded and continues to be used by Allergan’s sales department. Video functionality and documentation were just a few of the phase II additions.
