SAFESiM Mod/Sim Environment
The DoD and DARPA requested a UX strategy to visualize advanced modelling and simulation environments in an interactive experiment environment to support exploration of highly complex, interdependent approaches that characterize the future of mission planning.
After consultations with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and discovery sessions, I led workshops to isolate the key fundamentals, and construct a master IA chart overlayed with multiple user paths.
After IA chart analysis I was able to isolate specific takeaways that needed priority development -- asset management, and AI analysis.
My team created asset management flows then more comprehensive wireframes -- since there were multiple tiers of assets including model platforms and targets.
Next was the creation of a self-selecting analysis flow which would use AI automation to select the best asset for the appropriate mission.
From the flows and wireframes, an end-to-end POC application was developed. This is an ongoing project within DARPA as well as an in-house project for L3-Harris.
